JC Caceres - Why China & Asia Are Increasingly Eyeing Miami Real Estate | Ep. 32
Miami has clearly evolved into a thriving financial center, global gateway, hub for world class arts and culture, destination for education and healthcare, tourism juggernaut, and wellspring of prime waterfront residential real estate ... and yet, until recently, the city’s relationship with the Asian market has been limited. The reasons for this include regional unfamiliarity with Miami, lingering misconceptions of the “Miami Vice” era and the absence of direct flights from South Florida to East Asia.
However, key factors indicate the dawn of a sweeping Asian-influenced era in South Florida. How did we arrive here? And more important, what does it mean for South Florida and Miami’s economic growth? J.C. Caceres, President of the Asian Real Estate Association of America's Greater Miami Chapter, joins us on the podcast to explain.
About JC Caceres:
For over 24 years, I have been passionate about South Florida real estate. During my extensive career, I have seen Miami and surrounding areas evolve from vacation destinations to full-fledged international capitals of business, finance, the arts, and culture. Along the way, I have also established one of South Florida’s strongest real estate networks.
“Having purchased homes in this market myself, I am always thinking of ways to help buyers successfully take advantage of the ever-growing popularity and value available in South Florida. I believe it’s my ability to see the situation through my clients’ eyes that has helped me create so many customers for life.
Before embarking on his real estate career, I spent over 13 years in management at United Parcel Service. There, I worked throughout different centers in the region and had great opportunities to get to know and work with many wonderful people and business owners. As well, I also successfully ran a restaurant's business in Miami for several years. It was during these positions that I perfected my talent for listening to others’ objectives and presenting effective and efficient solutions – skills that I continue to use today with my real estate clientele. “I enjoy bringing people together in situations that can benefit everyone involved. When I represent a client, I make the extra effort to completely and fully analyze their needs. This allows me to not only meet their expectations and protect their best interests, but also identify the best-possible properties that may exist through the right kinds of connections.
Originally from Bogota, Colombia, I been living in South Florida for a long-time where I am a resident and in the Miami area. My current focus is on residential properties throughout Miami-Dade and Broward and Orlando counties with a concentration on “great opportunities and deals that offer the best return, value, or match for each individual client.”
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and Global Management from Florida International University (FIU) and is a member of the Realtor Association of Miami, the Florida Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. Whenever possible, I make it a point of supporting the local community through various non-profit organizations as well as local PTA’s for his children’s schools.
